"An Experience Like No Other!"
~ Semi-Private Farm Tours ~
We offer an educational farm tour for your group where you will visit with the animals in person and hands ON!
This is not an area that has been "set up" to be a petting zoo or a makeshift farm...this is an actual, real working farm with horses, chickens, cows and sheep! Our tours typically last an hour plus.
Tours may include:
* Feed the chickens, horses, sheep or cows
* History of our heritage breeds
* Understand a little farm life
* The joy of composting (aka ... manure)
While these tours are similar to the school tours, the semi/private are much more intimate & available some evenings as well as weekends so families can come out together and learn. Our morning tour will involve feeding the animals -
plan for a little extra time and bring clothes that can (and will)
get a little dirty!
Tours really can be customized for your group
and what it is that you are wanting to learn more about or are currently studying. NOTE: All activities
are age appropriate for the group.
Semi-Private Tour Costs:
It's really simple: ages 2 and up: $10. each
minimum group = 2.
Teachers - We can now schedule your class farm tour up to 9 months in advance! Add us to your class room's calendar now!
PLAN NOW FOR SPRING - FALL TOURS:
Reserve Your Tour Times for Your School, 4-H, Daycamp, Youth, Preschool or MOMS Groups!
Scheduling note - our Saturday morning include feeding the livestock and runs a little longer. Please arrive ON TIME - the animals are not happy if we make them wait - and wear clothes that can get a little hay on them.
